Leave both lines as drawn. “Developed by AI / not by humans” and its three siblings are the whole vocabulary. A translation, a rewrite, or your product name inside the pill is a different object.
The Standard
If a model did the making, wear it.
There is a blurred line, and we are not going to pretend a percentage makes it sharp. notbyai.fyi drew theirs at a human share. Ours is the mirror: the badge fits when you would honestly say a model produced the decisive work.
What “decisive” means.
Decisive is the thing a reader, user, or listener actually meets. The prose. The code. The picture. The cut. The system. The interface they touch.
A person may have chosen the problem, rejected three drafts, fixed a fact, and put their name on the consequences. That is a real job. It does not move authorship of the making back into their hands. Responsibility and authorship are allowed to split. The badge marks the second one.
Use developed for software and systems, written for language, designed for the visual or sonic work, and shipped when the released thing as a whole came out of a model. One badge is enough. The closest verb wins.
Leave it off
Some work belongs on the other badge.
- A person wrote, drew, or built the thing, and a model only checked spelling, fetched a citation, or suggested a rename.
- You want a certificate, an audit, or a score. We do none of those. Anyone can download the file.
- You want the mark to imply a partnership, a review, or an endorsement of the contents. It implies one sentence: a model made this.
- The claim would be a costume. If you would be embarrassed to say the sentence out loud, the badge does not belong there. The other sentence has a home at notbyai.fyi.
Usage
Keep the mark intact.
Color
Ink on light. Paper on dark. Those are the two files. A photograph is fine when one of them still reads at a glance. Recoloring the badge to match a brand system is how it stops being this badge.
Size
About 140 pixels wide is the floor on a screen. In print, keep it large enough that both lines stay words. Clear space around it: roughly the height of the icon, on every side.

Use
Personal and commercial use are both fine, including client work and products you sell. Attribution is appreciated and not required. The claim has to be true either way.
What this is
A claim, worn on purpose.
The page you are reading was developed by a model. It wears the badge for that reason, and because the work is better for having been made that way. That is the opinion under the joke: AI-made work is the more exciting thing in the field. Die geilere Kuh, die durchs Dorf rennt.
We will not detect your content, certify your process, or argue with someone who disagrees with your claim. The badge is voluntary, the way the other one is. Pick the sentence that is true.
